Crop Circles & Sacred Sites of England Tour 2013

Experience and explore the mystery of crop circles and ancient sacred sites in the enchanted landscape of Southern England...

Action Packed!

The tour will include:

  • Visits into crop circles
  • An optional helicopter flight over these exquisite patterns
  • Private out-of-hours access into Stonehenge
  • Attendance at a top Crop Circle Conference with international researchers
  • Visits to some of England's most powerful sacred sites

Each summer the greatest and most tangible unexplained phenomenon of our time is played out in fields of grain. Every year in England scores of geometric symbols, mandalas and beautiful patterns appear in the crop fields, particularly in the county of Wiltshire.

This magical landscape includes not only the majority ofcrop circles, but also some of England's most remarkable ancient sacred sites.

Join us in late July, at the height of the crop circle season, and explore this amazing mystery for yourself. We have access to the information network that provides breaking news on the latest formations and so we set off in search of new crop circles within hours of them forming, when their energy is strongest.

Try dowsing for this and earth energy currents that often link the circles to local sacred sites. You may walk barefoot on the newly laid crop, sit in meditation in the center of a recent formation, dance and sing with the flow of the energy or try to puzzle out what the pattern is. We have visitors from every continent sharing in the wonder of the experience and making new friends.

From time to time crop circle experts will join our group to share their experiences and views with us.

The tour will be led by Glenn and Cameron Broughton with guest researchers meeting our group from time to time. It is a 10-day tour based exclusively in Devizes in the heart of crop circle country and very close to Avebury and many other remarkable sacred sites.

Included in the tour is attendance at the Summer Crop Circle Lectures in Devizes organized by Karen & Steve Alexander of Temporary Temples. There will be international crop circle researchers present and a variety of presentations covering many different aspects of this amazing phenomenon as well as related topics. This conference is held in the building adjacent to our hotel in the centre of town giving you complete freedom to determine your own schedule for the weekend.

A high spot of the tour! You will have the opportunity to take a flight above these exquisite cosmic works of art in a small chartered helicopter! See the Booking page for details

Sacred Sites

This part of England is blessed with an abundance of very special sacred sites and for the same reason that the crop circles occur here, because of the presence of underground water potentised by powerful currents of earth energy. You will learn about the importance of both energy and water and be a ble to dowse for them. This knowledge will give you a key to understanding power centres in the landscape such that sacred sites will never look the same again!

Stonehenge - where our group will have exclusive access to this world famous ancient monument for a private visit outside of normal hours.

Glastonbury on the fabled Isle of Avalon, including:

  • Glastonbury Abbey - once the largest and most powerful abbey in all of England, it was the birthplace of Christianity in Britain, established by Joseph of Arimathea, who may well have brought his nephew Jesus here. It is also the reputed burial place of King Arthur & Queen Guinevere.
  • Glastonbury Tor - a natural anomalous hill, topped with St. Michael's tower, rises majestically from the surrounding Somerset Levels and acts as a beacon of spirituality, as it has done since Pagan times, for people of all beliefs. The Michael and Mary earth energy currents associated with the St Michael Line form the most magical and alchemical pattern upon the Tor.
  • Chalice Well - possibly England's most sacred holy well, where we will be greeted by one of the guardians. They will guide us through each stage of the beautiful tranquil gardens which have been created around the well-head and invite us to drink of these healing waters. This is a perfect place to spend some time in reflection and meditation.

Avebury Landscape Temple - the heart centre of Megalithic Britain. All the sacred sites in this area centre on Avebury, including Stonehenge some twenty miles distant, and they are all interconnected by powerful earth energy currents. We will visit:

  • Avebury Henge - here, within the largest stone circle in the world, we find the remains of two former stone circles, one solar and one lunar
  • The Sanctuary - a former stone circle at the head of a mile-and-a-quarter long avenue of stones leading to Avebury.
  • Knoll Down - a natural cathedral of trees at the 'tail of the serpent temple'.
  • Silbury Hill - a huge artificial mound with remarkable energetic properties.
  • West Kennet Long Barrow - an ancient underground chamber with powerful acoustics.

The tour will include:

  • Visits into formations with expert researchers
  • Attendance at the Summer Lectures Crop Circle Conference organised by Karen & Steve Alexander of Temporary Temples.
  • An optional helicopter flight over these exquisite patterns, at additional cost
  • Private out-of-hours access into Stonehenge
  • Visits to some of England's most powerful sacred sites
  • Collection from and return to Heathrow airport, London
  • All transportation within England
  • Accommodation in a top quality three-star hotel
  • All breakfasts and five evening meals

Note: the schedule for the tour will be partly determined by the crop formations as they appear. We are sure to experience some exciting and spontaneous changes to our itinerary by the unpredictability of this amazing phenomenon!

Day 3, Mon 22nd July

Today we visit Avebury, the heart centre of megalithic Britain. Here, within the largest stone circle in the world, we find the remains of two former stone circles, one solar and one lunar. Other ancient sacred sites within the Avebury Landscape Temple include the remarkable five thousand year old manmade Silbury Hill. We will visit West Kennet Long Barrow, an underground chamber used both as a tomb and a place of initiation, which has wonderful acoustics. Knoll Down, a tranquil sacred grove of trees, is the ‘tail’ of the Serpent Temple and was once connected to Avebury by an avenue of stones stretching for a mile and a quarter in length. A similar avenue also led off in another direction culminating at The Sanctuary the ‘head’ of the Serpent Temple.

All the sacred sites in this area centre on Avebury, including Stonehenge some twenty miles distant. Powerful earth energy currents course through this landscape and this may be one reason why the majority of crop circles occur within a 10-mile radius of Avebury. We will visit different sacred sites within this landscape temple during the tour according to where and when the crop circles occur.

In the afternoon we will visit any crop circles situated close by these ancient sacred sites.

We visit the beautiful and tranquil gardens of Chalice Well, one of the true healing places in this land where you are encouraged to drink from the holy well. A local legend states that the Holy Grail is hidden within the wellhead.

Glastonbury Abbey, the birthplace of Christianity in England and referred to as the ‘holiest earth in England’, was once the largest and most powerful abbey in all of Britain. It is no coincidence that the dual energy currents of England’s most famous leyline cross at the site of the high altar. A grave in the centre of the Abbey ruins is reputed to have been the resting place of King Arthur and Guinevere.
