Our itinerary will be flexible according to the locations of new crop circles and which sites are nearby. All activities are, of course, optional and so there is scope in the itinerary to take extra free personal time.
Day 1: Sunday 22nd July
Your tour guides, Glenn and Cameron Broughton, will meet the group at Heathrow airport after your overnight flight. We will travel in our private minibuses to our hotel in Devizes in the heart of crop circle country. You will have time to rest up or take lunch and then explore this charming market town.
There is a good range of shops, cafes, restaurants, markets and pubs readily available as our hotel is situated right in the centre of town in the old marketplace.
The hills and fields around the town are a popular venue for crop circles as is the whole countryside stretching east. The majority of crop circles each year occur within 15 miles of our hotel.
Welcome and introductions followed by dinner.
Dinner at the hotel
Day 2: Monday 23rd July
Orientation meeting
You’ve seen the pictures and now is your chance to personally experience the crop circles first-hand. Your expert tour guides, who have been into hundreds of formations over the last fifteen years, will show you what to look for and how to dowse for any energies present. At various times during the tour we will be joined by some of the top crop circle researchers who will share their views, knowledge and expertise with us. What better way to learn all about this amazing phenomenon than by being in the circles in the fields and having experts on hand for guidance.
Late afternoon visit to Michael Glickman's home for half the group (the other half will visit another crop circle & visit Michael on Thursday afternoon). Michael has been in the forefront of crop circle research for twenty years and has seen it all. We will have personal time with him to discuss crop circles in depth. Michael is also very entertaining and everyone loves these visits.
Free-choice dinner not included
Day 3: Tuesday 24th July
Today we visit Avebury, the heart centre of megalithic Britain. Here, within the largest stone circle in the world, we find the remains of two former stone circles, one solar and one lunar. All the sacred sites in this area centre on Avebury, including Stonehenge some twenty miles distant. Powerful earth energy currents course through this landscape and this may be one reason why the majority of crop circles occur within a 10-mile radius of Avebury.
In the afternoon we will visit any crop circles situated close by the ancient sacred sites we have visited.
Dinner at the hotel
Day 4: Wednesday 25th July
We will spend the whole of this day in Glastonbury, otherwise known as the Isle of Avalon.
Rising dramatically from the flat land of the surrounding Somerset Levels, the huge natural mound of the Tor, surmounted by St. Michael’s tower, has been a beacon of spirituality since pagan times and still acts as a magnet for people of all beliefs. You will hear the stories and the legends as well as experience the powerful energy and atmosphere of this sacred site. Plus the views from the top are spectacular!
We visit the beautiful and tranquil gardens of Chalice Well, one of the true healing places in this land where you are encouraged to drink from the holy well. A local legend states that the Holy Grail is hidden within the wellhead.
Glastonbury Abbey, the birthplace of Christianity in England and referred to as the ‘holiest earth in England’, was once the largest and most powerful abbey in all of Britain. It is no coincidence that the dual energy currents of England’s most famous leyline cross at the site of the high altar. A grave in the centre of the Abbey ruins is reputed to have been the resting place of King Arthur and Guinevere.
Glastonbury is full of unusual shops selling everything from candles and incense to colourful clogs, books and Goddess statues that you can peruse at your leisure during a long lunch break.
Dinner at the hotel

Day 6: Friday 27th July
Other ancient sacred sites include the remarkable five thousand year old manmade Silbury Hill. We will visit West Kennet Long Barrow, an underground chamber used both as a tomb and a place of initiation, which has wonderful acoustics. Knoll Down, a tranquil sacred grove of trees, is the ‘tail’ of the Serpent Temple and was once connected to Avebury by an avenue of stones stretching for a mile and a quarter in length. A similar avenue also led off in another direction culminating at The Sanctuary the ‘head’ of the Serpent Temple.
We will visit any crop circles that are sure to be close by these sacred sites.
Dinner at ‘The Kings Arms’ village pub - not included
Day 7: Saturday 28th July
We will spend the weekend attending the Crop Circle Summer Lectures in Devizes organized by Karen and Steve Alexander of Temporary Temples. Details are at www.summerlectures.co.uk There will be international crop circle researchers presenting on a variety of different aspects of this amazing phenomenon as well as related topics.
The conference is held in the adjoining building to our hotel and right in the centre of town so you can easily choose to skip certain presentations and have personal time.
Dinner not included in tour price.
Late on Saturday night you have the option to join an all-night vigil on a prominent hilltop overlooking the fields where many crop circles and light phenomena have occurred over the years. (There is an additional charge payable to the conference organizers for this).
Day 8: Sunday 29th July

Those doing the night vigil (which doesn’t finish till 6am) will need to get some sleep. Today is another full day of presentations at the conference.
The day finishes at 8.30pm with a special conference supper (included in tour price)
Day 9: Monday 30th July
We start the day with an early morning visit to Stonehenge. We have arranged for the group to have private special access into the stones of the world's most famous sacred site. Touch the huge megaliths which have stood in magnificent isolation on the windswept Salisbury Plain for thousands of years, feel the pulse of powerful earth energy currents coursing beneath your feet, imagine the ceremonies which have been performed by robed priests over aeons of time or just sit in quiet meditation. This is a rare opportunity to truly experience a site revered by countless generations.
Breakfast in a nearby hotel.
For those who choose the helicopter flight, we’re off to the local airfield for a flight above the Circlemakers’ exquisite cosmic works of art in small chartered helicopters – truly the high spot of the tour for many! You will also get to spend some time exploring nearby Salisbury including its medieval cathedral.
Those not flying will have more time in Salisbury.
After lunch we will make a final visit to any new crop circles, or of course, you may wish to have some shopping time in Devizes for those last minute gifts and souvenirs.
